The Lennoxtown Training Centre is a state-of-the-art facility that serves as the primary training and educational hub for Celtic Football Club. This cutting-edge complex includes a wide array of indoor and outdoor amenities designed to support the development of players and staff. The indoor spaces feature a fully equipped training hall, a modern fitness centre, advanced medical facilities, and dedicated educational areas. These elements create a holistic environment for physical training, rehabilitation, and learning. The outdoor facilities include three full-sized natural grass pitches with undersoil heating for year-round usability, an artificial pitch for diverse training needs, and a dedicated goalkeeping area for specialised practice.

ACTS developed a bespoke Mechanical and Electrical design to meet the complex and demanding requirements of this elite training centre. The design incorporated the installation of new mains for water, gas, and electricity, ensuring uninterrupted utility services. A low-temperature hot water (LTHW) heating system, paired with large-volume hot water storage, was implemented to meet the substantial demand from the facility’s showering and kitchen areas. Advanced ventilation systems maintain superior indoor air quality, while Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV) air conditioning systems provide precise climate control, ensuring consistent comfort across all indoor spaces.

Energy-efficient lighting was incorporated into the design, balancing functionality with sustainability. The robust power infrastructure seamlessly supports the centre’s operational needs, complemented by advanced data connectivity for cutting-edge technological integration. Safety was also a key priority, with a meticulously designed and installed comprehensive fire alarm system ensuring maximum safety and full compliance with regulatory standards.
